Arrived — Aloestis, Captain Norrla, 106 days from London. Part of her cargo is for Napier. She encountered very heavy weather during whloh her docks were swept and the boats and skylights em- shed. The water flooded the cabin, and a considerable quantity found Its way down the hold. On September 7th she exchanged signals with the ship Hengfst bound to Melbourne. The master wished to be reported. The Hengisc had encountered a heavy gale, during which her decks were swept and her bulwarks smashed.
