At a meetings of the Stewards of the Wellington Booing Club .this evening a letter was received from the Steward* of the Island Bay Baolng Club, Stating that as the change m the tenancy of the Island Bay courte prevented fietr continuing i | operations, they were anxious to reooui- : 'poose their late Secretary, Mr G Donne, for his loss of office, and they had hit on the expedient of tendering blm a oo aplimentary raoe meeting If tho Wellington Racing Club would plaae one of the raoing tracks at their disposal for tbe purpose It was unanimously decided to allow thorn the use of the Island Bay omrso for a one day's meetipg, to be held on the 4th December.
