On Wednesday there were fairly large entries of all kinds of stock, weather very fine, atteodanoe above the average. Fat Cattle*— A moderate entry, quality varied, a few Hnea very prime. Stobi Cattle —A moderate end , demand not over brisk ; late values about ruling. A line of coming three-year old helfera sold at £3 per head, a ore oowb at £2 10s to £3 12s 6d. Dawy Cattle. — A numerous entry, with a slack demand. Valuea easier. Pat Sheep —A pretty full marked, quality varied, principally good, a fairly good number of shorn sheep being sent forward. Tne inqairy was moderately active fcom both local, and buyers for export, and the deoUne of last week was folly reoovered, second quality sheep participating more particularly m the reoovery. The heaviest crossbreds sold at from 16 3 to 19i, and as high as 20a per head, lighter weights 12s 3d to 14s 6d. Shorn wethers sold at from 10s 4i to 12a 6d, do ewes 8j to 10s 33, merino wethers at from 8s 5d to 13a 2d. being at from 2£d to folly Si per 1b for mutton m the woo', and for shorn do 2d to 2£d per lb, according as the quality varied. Fat Lambs.— A large entry, quality \ very varied, but m most oases very' superior. A good demand was shown, all lines selling at fully lata rates. Best aorts 10d 3d to 12 j 6d, medium 8a 6d to 10s, iuf erlor to %.

Store Sheep. — A small entry ; demand a very fair one, late valaes being quite upheld. Crossbred hoggets sold at from 10s Id to lls 3d, oronbred ewea and lambs to 12i 6d, and v line of merino ewes and lambs at lla 2d.

Pigs — A email entry; an active demand, late valuei being well maintained, Porkers up to 3£d par lb.
