In the course of on article, the " Pall Mall Gazette" complimenta the Emperor William of Germany, on the pacific nature of the speeches he has delivered since ascending the throne. In an interview with a newspaper correspondent, Prince Bismarck, being asked who would succeed him m the event of his resigning, said nobody, the Emperor would Jje his own Chancellor.
