- London, October 6 Wool is slightly easier, owing to the inferior selection offering. Continental buyers purchased about half the quantity on Friday, when 18,000 bales were ■old. For to-day's sales, 10,000 bales are catalogned.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited; have received the following cable message from their London office, dated sth October :—
Wool— The market is unchanged ex ctpt for superior scoured merino, which has advanced Id per lb since close of last tales, coarse orossbred, for which the market is easier, and greasy crossbred lambs, which have declined Id to l^d per lb since close of last sales. Up to date 163,000 bales have been sold.
Tallow — The market iV firm and prospects good. Good beef and mutton tallows are worth respectively 278 6p and 28s 3d per cwt.
