PARNELL AND THE TIMES.

London, October 3 It is reported that the proprietor of 11 The Times " objects to incur the double expense of appearing fully before " The Times " Commission and righting the action brought against the proprietor and publisher by Parnell m the Court of Session, Edinburgh, and will, there fore, reserve most of the witnesses for the defence m the libel action, tendering sufficient evidence only to the Commis■ion to compel Parnell to disclose his band.
London, Ootober 4 The "Pall Mall Gazette" states that Parnell, has unearthed the forger of the letters said to have been written by him, and that the evidence to be ad - Muced at the coming trial m Edinburgh will leave no doubt as to the letters being forgeriei. Sympathisers with Mr Panel! are jubilant at this news.
