This reached Memo Kirkpatrlck aud Co., of Nelson, and they went to work m a very practical fashion to prove that the jams manufactured by the firm were of the best quality. We are happy to state, frankly and fully mat we have been very mucU surprised, as prior to the receipt of Mesßrs Kirkpatrick'a gtffc we were unaware that New Zealand conld boast of an induatry of which it has so much reason to be proud.
