At Manchester Ass'zas a few week ago, Mr Justice Grantham had before him a Jabourer named J-ihi Mills, who was charged with throwicg vitriol on Alice Mills with Intent to do her grievous bodily harm. The leaßt sentence I can pass upon you Is one that will prevent you repeating that offence to any other poor woman who may be placed m your power. The sentence 1 pass opon you is that you be kept m penal servitude for the rest of your life.
