The " Ghrietchurch Telegraph " Bays that Commandant Herbert H. Booth is announced to lead meetings m the Army Barracks, Victoria street, on Tuesday and Wednesday, Ootober 2nd and 3rd. He is to be assisted by Colonel Taylor, Major Lovelook, Adjutant Allan, fifty offioera, 600 troops, and eight brass bands, amongst them being that bevy of fair performers, the Hallelujah Lasses' Band. The proceedings comprise a monster tea and and reception meeting on Tuesday, when the Commandant will speak on the Army's advanoe. All-day meetings are announoed for Wednesday, being entitled " A Day with God," with " Christ's Christianity," as the subjeot; The Commandant with Colonel Taylor and staff, arrive at Lyttelton on Tuesday morning.
