THE LONDON MURDERS
MORE VICTIMS. HORRIBLE MUTILATIONS. [by aleotbio telegraph— oopybightJ (per press association.) London, September 28. The man Fitzgerald, who was arrested and confessed lo having committed murder at Birtley, m Durham, is pronounced insane. London, September 30 At twenty minutes past two this morning the body of a woman, aged about thirty-five, was discovered murdered, and completelydisembowelJed, near the junction of Leadenhall and Fenchurch streets, Aldgate. The woman's nose was severed from her face. An hour earlier the body of another woman, with her throat cut, had been discovered m a back yard m Barner Btreet, but as the body was not mutilated m any way it is not thought the murder is of the same class as those reported lately. In consequence of the discovery of the mutilated body m Leadenhall street, there is great excitement m the City today. Up to the prcseaf- no arrests have been made. La L er. It is said that the mutilated body of the murdered woman m the Aldgate district eclipses the horrors m connection with the similar outrages m Whitachapel road.
