Berlin, September 25. The publisher of the extracts ' from the diary of Emperor Frederick deniei. Prince Bismarck^s statement that they are fictitious, and maintains that the stolid silence of the Emperor William proves their authenticity. He adds - that if the extracts were not true, legal proceedings would have been taken against him for publishing them. ' : Prince Bismarck paid a sudden visit to the city to-day from Friedrichsruhe, and at once proceeded to interview the ifimperor William at the Royal Palace at Potsdam.
