I Holloway's Ointment and Pills.— Moie precious than gold. — During summer anil autumn the prevailing diseases arc diairluca, dyscnlry, fevers, and English cholera, particularly dangerous to children and young people. In these acute cases, where internal medicines cannot be retained, the greatest relief will immediate result from rubbing Holloway's soothing Ointment over the abdomen. The friction should be frequent and brisk, to ensure the penetration Of a large portion of the ungent. This ointmcnti calms the excited peristaltic action, quickly allaying the pain, lioth vomiting and gripping yield to it ; where fruits or vegetables have originated the malady, it is proper to remove all undigested matter from the bowels by a moderate dose of Holloway's Fills before using the ointment.
