[Pffß PkRSS JISKOOIATIOIf.] London, September 21. The tallow market is firm. Best mutton, 27s 6d to 28s : beef, 27s to 27s 6d. An Adelaide wheat cargo has been sold at 38s 6d. At the wool sales to day 11,000 bales were sold. London, September 29. At the wool sales to-day 12,000 bales were sold. The English wheat new crop is quoted at 6d below the old crop.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, hare received the following telegram from their London office, dated 21st September :— Wool— The sales gain firmness as they progres3. Superior greasy has advanced per lb since close of last sales, and scoured has advanced £d to Id per lb daring the same period. Other descriptions are unchanged. Since the date of oar last telegram 31,000 bales hare been sold. Wheat— The market is depressed, and has a downward tendency. Viotorian wheat, f.a.q.,'c.if., off coast, is worth 38s 6d per 4801bs. New Zetland, average, is worth 38s per 4961bs ex store. Tallow — The market is strong. Good mutton and beef tallows are worth 27s and 26s per cwt respectively. Bothmedium and inferior mutton and beef tallows are m demand, but fine of each description is neglected.
