Escape of a Lunatic.
Auckland, September 18. Stephen Spauldlng, who fired a building at the Remuera dairy about three years ago, made b!s escape from the Lunatic Asylum between two and three o'clock jeitarday morning and Is ttilt at large On the Colonial Secretary vUlting the A*ylum a few days ago he aaw Spaaldlog and asked him what he would do If he were aent away from the Asylum, fipauldlng ia!d be would make a public statement a« to how things were conducted •t the Asylum.
