QUEENSLAND.
Brisbane, September 5. Sir Samuel Griffiths, who was sent for yesterday by his Excellency the Governor, has refused to undertake the task of forming a Ministry, and has expressed the opinion that the action of the Premier was quite uncalled for. His Excellency the Governor has declined to accept the resignation of Sir Thomas Mcllwraitb.
