Fisher elected to wlthrair the Wellington School of Design Bill, »nd the Premier abandoned the DUtriot Hallways Bill. The Auckland Girls' High School BUI was discharged from the Order Paper. Amongst the Bill* passed were the Qlb- ! boarne Harbor, Thorn don Reoreatton Reserve, and Naval and Military Settlers. On the third reading of the. Appropriation BUI, whloh was wan carried by 35 to 14, Sir G. Grey made another protest against the Property tax. On the third reading of the Pablio Works Appropriation Bill, the general polioy of the Government) was traversed, and Sir H. Atkinson re- , plied at some length. At twenty mtnotei past one this morning the Bill W»s palled, and the House rose, to meet again at 11 a.m.
