The Local gills Committee reported adversely on the Epsom and Mount. Eden Reserve BUI. The Oounc.ll agreed to the amendments—with some exceptions—-nude m the Lands Transfer Bill. la the evening the sole business was tha agreement to confer with the members of the House of Representatives (this morning) on the Chinese question*
