THE MARKETS.
With the exception of Russia the harvest all over the Continent is much damaged by the bad weather, and is generally deficient m quantity and defective m quality. In consequence of the adverse reports on spring crops, the American markets are stiffening. Three thousand two hundred quarters of New Zealand wheat have been sold at 36s 6d.
