(PER PRBSS ASSOCIATION.) Berlin, Angu B t23 f . Signor Cnspi, who has arrived on a visit to Bismarck, was warmly welcomed. The German Press asserts that Signor Crispi's note to M. Goblet, French Minister of War, on the Massowah difficulty resembled a memorandum to excite war. Berlin, August 24. It is officially stated that the visit of Signor Crispi to Prince Bismarck is m connection with the relations of the Triple Alliance, and to ascertain the definition of conditions on which one of the allies could claim the assistance ■ of the other signatory powers. Berlin, August 25. Kiug Christian, of Denmark, has arrived m the city on a visit to the Emperor William, and met with a cordial reception. Rome, Angoat 23. It is reported that the Italian Government will shortly organise a new expedition to be despatched to Abyssinta, St. Petersburg, August 23. A statement that Abyssinia had offered to cede an island m the Red Sea to Russia, provided the latter sent a military inspector to Abyssinia, is denied. London, August 23. The "Times" states that Signor Crispi's visit to Germany is likely to inflame the excitement, and create an alarm on the Continent owing to the strained relations existing between France arid Italy. Paris, Angaet 24, It is explained that the order given by Vice-Admiral Krantz, Minister of Marine, for the equipment of several gunboats was incidental to the proposed naval evolutions, similar to those recently carried out by the British Government. Paris, August 25. M. Goblef, the French Minister of War, has referred the question of the Italian annexation of Massowah to the Great Powers.
