Paris, Auguafc 24 A number of bombs exploded m the streets of the city to-day, but fortunately no harm was done. No one has been arrested m connection with the event, the cause of wbich remains a mystery. A banquet was held m this city this evening to cslebrate the anniversary of the birthday of the Comte de Paris. M. d'Audiffret Pasquier, m a forcible speech, denounced the system of Republican Government and ssid Monarchial Government would be the only salvation of France. His speech was received with great enthusiasm.
