Thursday, August 23, The Honse met at 2 30. p.m. THE NEW PLYMOUTH HAKB3R BOABD Replying to Mr Reeves (St 4lbans) the Premier said that Government did not intend proposing any further legislation this seeaion m the direction of enabling the New Plymouth Harbor Board to meet its engagements. THE DISTRICT RAILWAYS PURCHASING BILL The District Rail way a Purchasing Act Amendment Bill was recommitted on the casting vote of tho Speaker, and after a lengthy debate was passed on the voices.
