Fraser, editor of the ••Southern Standard." The allegeg libel was m connection with a scene m the Gore Courthouse between the Mayor •nd two ether justices. In the first instance the newspaper accused the plaintiff of partizanahip and m the second published an article headed "Very Suspicious." For the defence it wes helcf that the comments were fair and honest, and made m public interest The jury returned a verdict fer the defendant with naata;
