THE SHIPPING " RING."
» (PBR PRESS ASSOCIATION.) London, Aaeust 13 Messrs Tyser and Oo have joined the shipping ring. The Mutual Shipping Company have agreed to abstain from increasing their capital, canvassing for customers of the ring, or loading for any ports m Australia but Sydney and Mcl bourne, to which they will despatch a limited number of vessels. The rateß of freight are to be inoreaßed on 4th September, and them is a probability of a further increase, A Committee of eight representing shippers is being appointed to confer with the shipping ring with a view to regulating the rates of freight.
