PROTEST AGAINST ITALIAN ANNEXATION.
Paris, August 11.
M. Goblet has addressed a circular note to the Powers on the Massowah difficulty, m which he insists that the district was always regarded as a portion of Egyptian territory. He denies the right of Italy to annex it. The note further protests against taxation of the Greeks and the seizure ofZulla, and threaten reprisals. v
