Newoasub, Aaguat 10. The employees at several of the principal mines have voted m favor of going out on strike, but the final result of the voting will not be known till to-morrow. The masters have suggested another conference with the men, to take place to-morrow morning. Sydney, August 10. Mr Quong Tart, leading Chinese merchant, has received a letter from Hong Kong to the effect that the refusal of the Australian colonies to allow Chinese to land, has excited a feeling of great indignation m phina, and that several meetings have been held at which resolutions vyere passed protesting against the treatment which the Chinese had received. The meetings further resolved that the matter should not be allowed to rest without an endeavor being made to obtain fair play for the Chinese.
