The following Bills were read a first time : Sheep Amendment Bill, Caatoma Duties Consolidation Act Amendment B'l', Post Office Foreign Parcels Bill, and Tobaoco Aot Amendment Bill. The .Naval and Military Settlers Land Bill was laid aside. The Land Act Amendment Bill wrb read a third time and the Local Courts Proceedings Bill a second time. The Slaughterhouse BUI was oomml ted and reported with verbal amendments.
