Emigration Beturns. Wkujutoion, August 10 The immigration and emigration returns for the colony for July show the arrivals to have been 619 persons while 1908 took their departure from New Z^a'an'd. The exodus wad principally to Votorla, 1055 having booked for there, and 815 for New Sooth Wales. The loss to the oolony through excess of emigration over immigration during the previous six months ended Jonp, was 5139 persona. There ware no arrlvf Is or departures of Ohlneße m July.

Imports and Exports. The Imports for the J ano quarter were £1,132,603 and the exports £1,426.290 Both show a large increase over the corresponding quarter of l«t year. The French Escapee* Judgment was given this morning In the case of Gary, the French escapee from New Caledonia, the Judge making an order for his release from custody. Accident at Sea.
