London, August 8. An off coast Australian wheat cargo has been sold from 35s 6d to 365. Flour is quoted at from 25s 6d to 265. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have just received the following cable advice from their London office, dated yesterday: —
Wheat — The weather is improving, and the market is quiet. New Zealand cargoes are worth 34s 61 per 48olbs c.U,
The following telegram, under date of London, August 7 th, has been received by a Chnstchurcfi merchant : —The market is affected by fine weather. Your cargo is worth 345, less 1 per cent, sea damage for seller's accounts.
The New Zealand Shipping Com pany (Limited) have received the following cable message from their London office, dated 7th August, 1888:—
E.M.S. Tongariro arrived, all well, at Plymouth to-day. Frozen meat m good condition.
