On the motion for going into Committee of Supply, Mir Walker moved. as an | amendment " Tbat m the opinion of the House it Is not desirable that the Representation Act, 1887, should have force and effect until after the census had been takon : that a raspeotf ul address be presented to his Excellency the Governor praying him not m the meantime to direct the Representation Commissioners to aot under the provisions of the section as altered by the Representation Act Amendment Aot, 1887."
