RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. 7 he meeting will be held under the New Zealand Grand National Steeplechase Rules where applicable. 2. No entry will re received except on ht conditions that all disputes, claims, and objec tions arising out of the racing, shall decided by the Stewards or whom they maj appoint, their decision on all points connected with the carrying out of this programme be final. 3. A qualified Hunter shall mean any horse that has been fairly hunted at least three times with any recognised pack of hounds during the season 1888 Master of Hounds certificate to be produced at the fcales. 4. Five per cent wi'l be deducted from the gross of all monies payable m accordance wUh this programme for expenses of the course. 5. A'l nominations and acceptances to go to the funds of the Club. 6. Riders m all races except Selling Hack Race must be members of some recognised Hunt Club, and member's ticket must be pro* duced at the scales if required. 7. Riders who have never won an adveitised race of any sort, value 20 soys or over, allowed fibs m all races, except the Selling Hack Race, NOMINATIONS. Nominations for all- handicaps and entries for Maiden Steeplechase and Selling Hunters' Steeplechase, accompanied by fees, name, age, description, and performances of horses, and colors Of the riders, must be m the hands of the Secretary, Commercial Hotel, Ashbuiton, not Uter than 9 p.m. on Saturday, July 21st 1888. WEIGHTS. Weights for the Handicap Hurdle Race, Hunt Club Cup, and Hunters' Flat Race, vrill b 8 declared on Monday, July 30th, 1888. Weights for the Selling Steeplechase will be declared immediately after the Hunters' Flat Race srun. ACCEPTANCES.
