Statutory Declaration.— l, Fran2 Raabe Ironbark, Sandhurst, m the oolony of Victoria, Australia, do solemnly and sinoerely deolare that on the 25th June, 1877, my son Alfred, six years of age, was accidentally hurt with an axe on his knee. lat onoo took all pains to secure medical assistance Howovor, m spite of all' etforty, qn the 27th August, 1877, tho opinion was givon by D,r Maogillivray that an amputation of tho injured limb had become imperative, m order to save life. At this junoture I called on Messrs Sander and Sons, proouring some of their Extraot of the Euoalyptus Globulus, and by the application of the samo I had tho satisfaction of seeing my aon within a fortnight out of all danger, and to-day he io reoovored. I may just add that it was when the crisis had boon reaohed that the Extraot referred to' was first appljed. And I make this solemn declaration, etc— Fbansß Rude.
