The following ia the Oorn Exohange report for the week ending Friday. July 27th, 1888:— .. • /

The weather up to yesterday continued favorable to farming operations, and reports to hand from the various distrieta show that large breadths of corn have been planted m splendid oondition. Freights to London are slightly m favor of shippers, but the quantity offering is still limited.

Wheat— A firmer tone ' prevails. Prime Tuscan commands 2a 9sd for Home ship* ments. Pearl has an enquiry for mixing purposes at 2a 3d to 2s 9d. Hunters finds ready Bale at 2s 7£d, while ohoioelota fetota up to 2a Bd. Whole ohioken wheat is. 2s 8d to 23 4d, add broken from la lOd to 2a Id.

Oats— A strong demand still 'exists, for prime heavy lines for milling, 2s ia readily paid. Good Bhort feed have a fair enquiry at Is lOd to Is lid, long and 'inferior sorts vary from Is 8d to Is lOd. :

Babley— For the present very little is being done m this cereal. Malt, however, fioda a slightly better enquiry. We still quote prime milling at 4s to 4a 3d. Seoond quality, how. ever, ia.muoh negleoted ; feed is worth la lOd to 2a.

Grass Seed. — A few orders are coming m for looal sowing, but prioea are not harden* ing. At present we quote maohine dressed at 2s6dto2s9d; farmers lines, 2a to2sßd; oooksfoot has a fair business at . 3£d for prime heavy seed and 2|d to Sd for second quality. Potatoes are still rising, 40s to 42s is now freely paid at country [stations for delivery when required;

Dairy Produce. —Butter is again a little firmer and Bales have been offeoted up to 9Jd for prime ; oheeae has a fair business at 8d to B£d according to size and quality. The above pricea are those paid to farmer! for delivery, f.o.b. Sacks extra.
