Selling Hack Race, of 10 sovs j no weight under 9 stone. The winner to be sold by auation immediately after the race for io son's, any surplus to go to the funds of the Club. Post entry, ios. Three-quarters of a mile. 4. Maiden Steeplechase Plate, of 15 sovs ; the second horse to receive 3 sovs from the stake. For horses that have never won an advertised steeplechase j for qualified Hunters, the property of members of the Ashburton County Hunt Club. Weigh t-for-age. Nomination, 15s; acceptance, free. About two miles. 5. Hunters' Flat Race Handicap, of 15 sovs ; the second horse to receive 3 sovs from the stake. Selling Hunters' Steeplechase Handicap, of 10 sovs ; winner to be sold bv auction immediately after the T ace for 15 sovs, any surplus to go to tbe funds of the Club. Nomination, ios ; acceptance free ; to be notified to the Secretary within ten minutes after tbe weights are declared. Once round the Steeplechase course. RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. "■ he meeting will be held under the New Zealand Grand National Steeplechase Rule; where applicable. 2. No entry will re received except on he .conditions that all disputes, claims, and objec tions arising out of the racing, shall decided by the Stewards or whom they mai appoint, their decision on all points connected with the carrying out of this programme be final. 3. A qualified Hunter shall mean any horse that has been fairly hunted at least three times with any recognised pack of hounds during the season 1888. Master of Hounds certificate to be produced at the scales. 4. Five per cent will be deducted from the gross of all monies payable in accordance with - this programme for expenses of the course. 5. AU nominations and acceptances to go to the funds of the Club. 6. Riders in all races except Selling Hack Race must be members of some recognised -Hunt Club, and member's^ ticket must be produced at the scales if required. 7. Riders who have never won an advertised race of any sort, value 20 fovs or over, allowed 7lbs in all races, except the Selling Hack Race. NOMINATIONS, * Nominations for all handicaps and entries for Maiden Steeplechase and Selling Hunters' Steeplechase, accompanied by fees, name, age, description, and performances of horse?, and colors of the riders, must be in the hands of the Secretary, Commercial Hotel, Ashbuiton, not later than 9 p.m. on Saturday, July 2lst 1888. WEIGHTS. Weights for the Handicap Hurdle Race, Hunt Club Cup, and Hunters' Flat Race, wiU ba declared on Monday, July 30th, 1888. Weights for the Selliug Steeplechase will be declared immediately after tbe Hunters' Flat Race srun. ACCEPTANCES.
