SUSPENSION OF AN M.P.
London, July 21. In the House of Commons, on the motion of Lord R. Churchill, Mr Conybeare, M.P. for Camborne, was suspended on the grounds of having published m the " Star" a letter grossly libelling the Speaker because cloture was applied to the Drainage Bill. Mr Gladstone supported the motion, and the Irish party opposed it.
