AUSTRALIANS V SUSSEX. (Pjer Prkhs Association.) London, July 20. In the cricket match, Sussex made 116 the prinoipal scorers being Thomas 14, Humphreys 14, and J. Hide 12. Turner took five wlokets for 35 and Ferris four for 47. The Australians, m their second innings, wanted 147 to win. and had lost six wlokets for 35 runs, when rain put a stop to the play, London, July 21. The crlokel match, Sussex v Australians, was resumed today. The game ended m a viotory for the former by 58 runs; In tbelr second innings the Australians made a poor stand, the last wioket falling with the total at 88 Turner played afi c innings for 39, as did Trott for 25, Humphrey's bowling with lobs WBS most pffaotive and he secured nine wickets for 49 runs. The mitoh on M nday will be against Yorkshire instead of the Past and Present of Cambridge Univereity.
