Statutory declaration.— J, Franz Raabe, Jronbark, Sandhurst, m the oolony of Viotoria,, Australia, do Bolomnly and sinoerely deolare that on (he 25th June, 1877, my son Alfred, six yearß of age, was accidentally hurt with an axe on his knee. lat once took all pains to seoure medical assistance. However, m spite of all efforts, on the 27th Augußt, 1877, the opinion was given by Dr Maogillivray that an amputation of tho injured limb had beoome imperative, m order to Bavo life. At this ]unoture I called on Mesßrß Sander and Sonß, proouring some of their Extraot of the Eucalyptus Globulus, and by the application of the same I had tho satisfaction of Booing my son within a fortnight out of aU danger, and to-day ho is recovered. I may Jußt add that it wag when tho crisis had been reaohed that the Extraot referred to was first applied. And I mako this solemn declaration, etc. — Franz Raabe.
