PAYMENT OF MEMBERS.
The House of Commons has by a majority of 57 rejected the motion proposed by M. Chas. Fenwick, M.P., for Wansbeck, providing for the payment of members of the House. 1 n speaking to the motion Mr Gladstone advocated paying labor members.
