A lengthy debate took place m the ftouse of Assembly last Vijght on the alleged negligence of the Government m delaying the despatch of the lifesaving appliances to the scene of the wreck of the ship Star of Greece. The .Government were exonerated from any blame, but a select pomraittee w.as appoipted to investigate the action of the Marine Board m the matter. In addition to those previously mentioned it is Known that three others were drowned, and the police believe they include -two persons wanted on a charge of burglary committed at Port Adelaide. j
