Open to any qualified Hunters, the property of members of any recognised Hunt Club. Minimum weight, 10 stone. Nomination, ios; acceptance, ios. About 3 miles over fair hunting country. 3. Selling Hack Race, of 10 soys ; no weight under 9 -stone. The winner to be sold by auation immediately after the race for 10 soys, any surplus to go to the funds of the Club. Post 'entry, ios. Three-quarters of a mile. 4. Maiden Steeplechase Plate, of 15 soys j" the second horse to re-eive 3 soys from . the stake. RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. 1 he meeting will be held under the New Zealand Grand National Steeplechase- Rules where applicable. 2. No entry will r e received except on the conditions that all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing, shall be decided by the Stewards or whom they may appoint, their decision on all points connected with the carrying cut of this programme to be final. 3. A qualified Hunter shall mean any horse that has been fairly hunted at least three times with any recognised pack of hounds during the season 1888.- Master of Hounds cerlifi* C.ate to be produced at the scales. ! 4. Five per cent will be deducted from the gross of all monies payable m accordance with this programme for expenses of the course. 5. AU nominations and acceptances to go to the funds of the Club. 6. Riders m all races except Selling Hack Race must be members of some recognised Hunt Club, and member's ticket must be pro* duced at the scales if required. r . 7. Riders Who have never won an advertised race of any sort, .value 20 soys or over, allowed 7 ; bs m all races, except the Selling Hack Race, % NOMINATIONS.
