TROUBLE IN ZULULAND
(per press association.) Capetown, July 4 The engagement m Zululand lasted six hours. There were few fatalities on the British side. Capetown, July 5. Volunteers are being called out m the threatened districts of Natal. ■; London, July 5. In the House of Commons this afternoon, Sir John Gorst, referring to hostilities m Zululand, said that the Chiefs Dioizulu and Undadako had committed wanton robbery and acts of violence on British territory, and it was necessary that England should take steps to punish them. Mr Smith expressed a hope that the difficulty would soon be settled.
