THE THIBETAN AFEAIR.
Calcutta, July 4» Information has been received that, owing to the influence of the Qhinese. resident at Lhassa, the capital city of Thibet, the Thibetans propose that a Conference should be held with the diplomatic agents of Great Britain with a view to peace being agreed upon.
