George Qrey hoged that np membar interested m Natlye lands wou'd serve on the Oommlttee, Mr Mltohelson said that his attention had just been drawn to the f«ct that two members of the proposed Committee were Interested In Native lands, but both those gentlemen ware members of tha Native Affalra Committee, and he felt sure that from what he knew of them they would not allow private considerations to influence their aotion on a question of this kind. The motion was oarrled after discussion. TRAMWAYS ACT AMKNDSfBNT »Ui, The Tramways Aot Amendment Bill was reported from Committee, read a third time and pasted, MINIMO BILL, The Mining Aot Amendment Bill was committed on a division by 47 to 10. Considerable dlsousslon ensued which was interrupted by the s 30p.m. adjournment. ■
