The Attorney-General said thit it was quite a misconception to suppose that this was a trust fund. The manner In whlah the moneys wore dealt with, being banded to the Public Trustee, was quite Irregular. The motion was carried on the voices*. ODBTOM3 DUTIES BILL. The adjourned debate -on the question of the second reading of the Customs and Exotao Duties Bill was resumed by Mr Oliver, who was speaking when the Council rose at 6.30 p.m.
