Melbourne. July 11. Arthur Daly, solicitor, charged with forging a signature to a land transfer application, has been acquitted. The IJorL Thorna? J^ent, leader of the Opposition,' jjaet' ; with an acciderU white entering the House last evening. He slipped and Hi? {'gad struck aplanjc. The accident resulted fa P^ncyssjon of the brain, but he is improving to-day. His motion pf want of confidence lapsed, and the Address-in-Reply was carried on the voices.
