A new ball dog revolver was found on the edge of the rock and a bullet wound In the centre of the man's forehead The body ia not identified, bat It is evidently that of the man engaged In manual work. Five pounds and fifteen shillings of money was fonnd In the pockets and several other articles, but not a clae to the identity. The body evidently had only been a few hours dead when found. Burnt to Death. Dunedih, July 2. A child at Bluospur waß badly burned through its clothes catching fire. End of a Drinking Bout. At Skippers, John Martin, a miner, was burnt to death m bis tent. He and his mate (Edwards) procured a gallon of whisky, and drank till both beoame helpless. Edwards appears to have endeavored to rescue Lira, but was too drunk to remember what occurred. Larceny. The envelope being then very dirty he resolved to put it m a fresh one and pott it by next mail and say nothing about it for fear of dismissal. He was sentenoed to neven rays
