DEADLOCK.
A difficulty has arisen over the Chinese Restriction Bill, the Legislative Council and the IJouse being at variance on three material points, these being, the exception of naturalised Chinese from mining and license fees, The Council insists on an amendment on these points, and the House is again considering the question.
