The nsaal monthly meeting of the above B.mrd was held on Thursday, Jane 14th, Present — Mesars Wm t MoMUlan (ohairmao), J. Jaokaon, J. Johnston, and D, Oamorun. The Clerk's report was read, and conaldered. Rleeora Qulnn, Middlotorj, OhambsrP| and Maglnnia Interviewed the Board with referenoe to ropalra on roads. It was deolded to oall for tenders for the nest mett'ng for tho formation of Ulyett'i ttoad ohd for making repairs on Gacn'a Road , also to have repairs made at one* on several of tbe roads. It wa» resolved that the rate collector be paid the percent »go agreed on fir rates oolleced and that the Board take atepa at oiiob to ODlleot those outstanding. Oarrespondenea was read from Coanty Council re division of County. — ttosolved that the Board withhold the expression of their opinion till after the ratepayers' meeting called to consider fie question on July 12ch. From the same stating that a sum of £30 la was placed at the diepoeal of the Board for the purchase of poisoned wheat, — Resolved that the Board prepare thu wheat as last year, Mr Black's tender for forming and shingling on alar r's Road was accepted, Accounts to tho amount of £43 19j 2d were passed. Tho annual meeting of rat payers m the district was held on the same date. Tho balaDOo-ahoet as audited was read and adapted. — It was reaolved that a special mooting of ratepayers be culled for the purpose of oonuldering the qaentlon of the division of tho County on July 12, h.
