He suffers no paia and is conscious. June 15, 5.5 •.m. The Emperor is weaker. The secretions from the throat are impeding breathing All hopes .are now abandoned. . - : I-.:';. ' :. r - London, Jane 14. Intense gloom overspreads England, and reports are received stating^ that Berlin is wrapped m sorrow at the Impending fate of the Emperor who is said to be quite resigned. He is suffering from convulsive fits and swoons, which rapidly succeed each other. All the theatres m Berlin are closed. London, Judo 15. The Prince of Wales has received a telegram from -Potsdam stating that the death of the Emperor is imminent. (Reoelved Juno 15, 1.45 a.m.) Berlin, June 15. During the night the E/nperor's slumber was' disturbed by fits. At 3 a.m. the'weakness increased alarmingly, though the Emperor was still conscious almost to the last. At 10 a.m. there were no signs of suffering, and at 11 a.m. his Imperial Majesty passed quietly away m the presence of his family. (Received June 16, 12.2gp,nj.)
