The following ib the Com Exchange report for the week endinz Friday, June 16th, 1888:The Lanarkshire has oleared 11,534 sacks of grain, and other vessels are now loading m Port, whioh has had tbe effect of easing the storage accommodation. 16 will, however, be some time yet before this has any appreciable efleot on our stocks. Freight continues high, fcnt as it is expected that the supply of mutton will be more limited the steamers will ba wanting cargo m the near future. Whhat. — An ordinary fair amount of business baa been done during the week, 2s 9d being paid for good Tuscan and Pearl, and 2s 7sd to 2s 8d for Hunters. Whole chicken wheat is wanted at 2s 2d to 2s 3d, and broken Is 9d to Is lid. Oats.— More are now offering, and the market rates are more steady, 2s for extra heavy milling, and Is lOd to Is lid for heavy short feed. Long descriptions are not very brisk at Is 83 to Is 9d. Bablby. — Sales are not plentiful, only small odd lots are now offering, whioh - maltsters are not anxious to acquire. We quote 4s Id to 4s 3d for prime, malting at Ss 6d to 8u 93, for ordinary .samples, feed 2s. Bhans and Psas are without change m values. -.-... Grabs Bbbd.— • Little or no business is transpiring and prices are nominal. Potatoes. — For deliveries for the Pukaki, Derwents have had a slightly better enquiry, and 3s has been paid for prompt de-2 livery at oountry stations. Datby Pboddcb.— Butter has had a brisk business and last quotations of 8d to B Jd is * Sally maintained, Oheese is m slightly better demand, but without alteration m T»lue.
