THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT BILL.
London. Jane 14 Members of the Conservative Party are protesting against the action of the Government m withdrawing the licensing clause m the Local Government Bill. The publicans are making no attempt to have the clauses reinstated. The temperance party and Unionist Liberals hope to prevent the excision of Sunday trading clauses.
